How to Register for UCAT ANZ 2025

Registrations and bookings to sit UCAT ANZ 2025 are now open!
UCAT ANZ 2025 testing takes place between 1 July and 5 August 2025. However, we strongly advise registering and booking your UCAT test early to ensure you secure a location, date and time that is suitable for you. If you leave it until later to register and book your UCAT test, it is possible you will need to sit UCAT on a date, at a time, or in a location that is not convenient.
What UCAT ANZ 2025 testing date should I choose?
There are a few factors to consider when choosing a UCAT ANZ 2025 testing date:
- If possible, we recommend choosing a testing date earlier in the UCAT testing cycle. This is because each year there are UCAT candidates who book a late UCAT test and encounter problems when they fall ill or experience other issues preventing them from sitting UCAT in that testing slot. The availability of UCAT testing sessions reduces later in the UCAT testing window. Booking an earlier UCAT testing date ensures you have the flexibility to reschedule your UCAT if the unexpected occurs.
- It is worth noting that school holidays in Australia and university breaks in New Zealand occur in the first half of July. We suggest that you use these times to sit the UCAT, as you will be less busy with other academic commitments. Sitting UCAT during a school or university break will also give you time to manage stress and get into optimal condition for UCAT testing day.
Our blog provides more advice on how to choose the perfect testing date and time.
How do I register for UCAT ANZ 2025?
You must complete a two-step process using the Pearson VUE online registration system to register and then book a test.
Step 1: Online Account Registration
You must create an online account with Pearson VUE before you can book your UCAT test. You need to register for UCAT personally – this cannot be done by your school. You should only create one account as multiple accounts are not permitted. Ensure you sign up with an email address that is monitored regularly, as you will receive all communications regarding your UCAT test via email.
You must register with your legal name exactly as it appears on the photo identification you will present at the UCAT testing centre. If there is not an exact match, you will not be able to take your UCAT test.

How do I reschedule my UCAT test?
If you are not fit to take your UCAT test due to illness or other personal circumstances you must reschedule your UCAT test to a later date.
You can reschedule your test up to 24 hours before your UCAT test appointment time and you can do this through your Pearson VUE account. Make sure to complete all the steps involved in rescheduling and that you then receive a confirmation email.
If you miss this deadline you will need to pay the UCAT test fee again to reschedule your UCAT test appointment. Note that the availability of UCAT test appointments and times will be very limited in the last week of UCAT testing. In some circumstances you may need to travel to another location if there are no available appointments at your preferred UCAT test location.
How can I pay for my UCAT test?
The registration fee for UCAT is payable online at the time of booking by major credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Visa debit card).
How do I know if my booking was successful?
You will receive a confirmation email from Pearson VUE when you have completed your booking. Please ensure you check your junk/ spam folders of your registered email address as it may have been diverted there. If it has not arrived, you should contact Pearson VUE Customer Services. Additionally, your confirmed appointment details will be given in your Pearson VUE account if your booking was successful.
