UCAT ANZ 2020 WILL PROCEED IN JULY!

3 years ago by Rob
UCAT ANZ has advised that UCAT will be proceeding in July 2020 as planned. Previously, it was unclear whether UCAT ANZ 2020 would be taking place as usual, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. UCAT ANZ 2020 will take place with appropriate social distancing and hygiene precautions in place to protect UCAT candidates. The late registration deadline has also been extended from 18 May 2020 to 1 June 2020.
In order for Pearson VUE to observe appropriate social distancing rules, adjustments need to be made to the way some test centres are set up, including the provision of extra spacing between workstations. Therefore, some workstations in the following locations where candidates were currently booked will be closed to create extra space:
Adelaide
Auckland
Brisbane
Bendigo
Bunbury
Cairns
Canberra
Christchurch
Darwin
Geelong
Hobart
Melbourne
Newcastle
Parramatta
Perth
Sydney
Wagga Wagga
Wellington
Candidates who have been booked into a closed workstation at affected test centres will be asked to reschedule their UCAT test. In many cases, the new UCAT testing appointment will be at the same UCAT testing centre, and will just require a change to the date and/or time. In some cases, your UCAT testing appointment may be moved to an alternative UCAT testing centre which has additional capacity. Note that not all UCAT candidates will be affected.
If you are affected, you will receive a reschedule notice via email from Pearson VUE in the next few days. It is therefore important that you monitor your registered email address, so you can take appropriate action. If you do receive a reschedule notice, you must follow the instructions provided to reschedule your UCAT test. You will be able to reschedule your test between 22 May and 1 June – if you miss this deadline, you will need to contact Pearson VUE customer services so they can reschedule your UCAT test for you.
If you are not affected by the closing of UCAT work stations, you will not receive a notification from Pearson VUE, and you do not need to take any action. You can confirm your current UCAT testing appointment by logging into your Pearson VUE account to check your booking details.
Note that some other UCAT test centre locations may be affected, and candidates will be notified over the coming week if they need to reschedule their UCAT testing appointment.
